Audrey Layne is 18 Months Old!!!

It's hard to believe, but my sweet baby girl is a year and a half!!!!!!

We have gone from this

to this, in such a short time!!

Audrey Layne at 18 months:

-wears size 4 diapers, 18 month clothes and sizes 4 and 5 shoes

-has 6 teeth now, which you can clearly see above!

-weighs approximately 23 pounds, but we go on Wednesday to her well check so will find out exactly then

-is down to 1 nap per day on most days

-we kicked bottles probably 4 months ago and she is eating 3 meals a day plus snack in the mid-afternoon

-has had her first surgery- ear tubes on 1/11/12, which was a success

-can say her name and all 3 dogs' names too (well when you ask her to repeat them back to you)

-knows where her nose, ear, mouth, eye, belly, head, hair, foot and shoe are, and can say their names too

-can now say all of her grandparents names, and repeat those of her great-grandparents (Papa, Tine & Nannie)

-loves to dance, dance, dance

-favorite new phrase this week "No Mommy!", even when I am not around or didn't ask the question!

-her best friend is her cousin Lily, and she asks for her almost every day

-LOVES Bubble Guppies. Seriously loves.  She calls it "BubbleGa" and asks for it numerous times a day and always dances to the theme song.

-has started CLIMBING this week.  It all started on the new picnic table, and she  has now managed to climb onto and stand up on the couch, and turns her couch over and stands on it too! 

-has fallen in love with the slide Lily handed down to her.  A whole post coming up on that, with pics and hopefully video!

-whenever she sees a baby, or even a kid, she says "BABY!"

-loves being given kisses, especially on her neck

-is very ticklish- on her back, hands, feet, under her arms, just above her knees- pretty much everywhere!

-Other favorite words/phrases she uses every day: 

"Oh Mommy"          "cheeesssseeee"            "dog dog"      

"shoe"                      "thank you"                     "hi"

"monk monk"           "bite"   

"Peeeeeesssss"- aka please in a really high voice   

"debede"- aka Baby Einstein dvd                   

"Nimmie"- aka Minnie, her favorite toy right now, and she went into the surgery with Audrey and took care of her! " AND MANY, MANY MORE 

I know this is repeated in almost every post, but we love this sweet angel like no other! Audrey Layne, you have made our lives more fulfilled than we ever thought possible and we couldn't imagine it any other way!!!
