Hard to believe it has already been a month since we were blessed with Savannah!
At 1 month old, Savannah:
- weighs 7 pounds, 4 ounces (gained 3 ounces since birth) and is still 20.25 inches
- is in the 6th percentile for weight and 9th for height
- wears newborn diapers
- wears newborn sized clothes
- is nursing every 2-2.5 hours during the day and has a 3 oz bottle before bed
- spits up frequently, just like her big sister
- sleeps very good. About 5-6 hours overnight, then has a bottle when she wakes up and usually goes back down for few more hours
- loves bring swaddled
- has big bright blue eyes and blonde hair
- can hold her head up really great
- earns comments from people about how small, precious and cute she is. Also that she has large hands
- loves her swing and papasan chair, at least for few minutes at a time
- she turns her head at the sound of my voice
- she can focus on people when they are talking to her
- loves to stand up and exercise her strong legs
She is just an amazing baby and we are so grateful we get to call her ours!
