Audrey Layne is 6 Months Old!!!

I cannot believe my baby is 1/2 way to being a whole year old! Audrey you are the absolute light of our lives, you have enriched them beyond imagination!

Audrey went to her 6 month checkup yesterday and her stats were:
Height: 25.5 inches (50%- the same)
Weight: 14lb 5oz (less than 25% but the doctor isn't worried since she has lost weight while she's sick)
Head size: 42cm (40% which is an improvement)

Here is what out little one has been up to this month:
-She is still wearing size 2 diapers
-wearing 6 months clothes and still some 3-6 months
-has eaten sweet potatoes, green beans and carrots- carrots are the clear winner so far!
-hates rice cereal (we will be trying oatmeal soon)
-she is holding onto toys in a death grip and has even swung them so hard she has hit herself in the face a few times!
-she is starting to get shy around people but warms up after a little bit
-loves dancing (and jumping)
-Daddy can make me laugh like no other
-has begun sucking on her lower lip- I never see it anymore
-drooling all over the place
-if you don't give her her bottle fast enough, she will reach out for it and bring it to her face (but she still doesn't want to hold it by herself)
-at the doctor visit, he said her ears looked wonderful (which is music to my ears because I have been worried sick about her getting constant ear infections and possibly needing tubes, because I did, my sister did and my niece did)
-when she gets mad she will throw her head and back out trying to get away
-I can only feed her in her highchair now even though she barely reaches the top when she sits on towels because she throws herself backwards in her bumbo to escape the dreaded cereal
-loves, loves, loves to go 'flying' up in the air

Audrey had 3 different outfits on for her pictures, as you see below, because she spit up on her first 2 outfits and of course I had share (also she was not a happy camper having her picture made)! Prepare for picture overload...

Someone had too much fun playing with the sign so
we had to give her toys to occupy her
